Chineke! Junior Orchestra returns to the Southbank Centre for its first concert with a live audience since 2020.

Focusing on fine classical and 20th-century works, the concert highlights the talents of the orchestra, as soloists and as an ensemble.

Pieces include the Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture, Joseph Bologne's Sinfonie Concertante and Vaughan Williams' Tuba Concerto.

The Chineke! Junior Orchestra comprises musicians aged 11 – 22 from across the UK.

Professionals of its sister ensemble, the Chineke! Orchestra, act as mentors to the Juniors, providing guidance in performance technique and musicianship.

Semi-finalists in the ITV show Britain's Got Talent 2020, the Chineke! Juniors are blazing a trail as the next generation of Black and ethnically diverse classical music artists.
